How to use the PDF to JPG

Export PDF pages as high-resolution JPG, PNG, WebP or multi-page TIFF images for presentations, portfolios, websites and submissions.

  1. Open the PDF.
  2. Choose the pages to export.
  3. Choose the format and resolution, from screen size up to 1,200 DPI.
  4. Download the images, as a ZIP when there are several.

Worked example

Export an A1 presentation sheet as a 300 DPI JPG for printing in a portfolio, or as a 150 DPI WebP for a website, where the smaller file loads faster.

Good to know

  • Use PNG for line drawings with flat colour and JPG or WebP for renders and photos.
  • 300 DPI is standard for print and 72 to 150 DPI is enough for screens.
  • Very high resolutions on large sheets make very large images; use the Image Compressor to reduce them.

Questions

Which resolution should I choose?

150 DPI suits screens and presentations. 300 DPI or more suits printing and detailed drawings.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser on your own computer. Files are never sent to Aakaar or anywhere else, and they are deleted when you leave the page.
