PDF to text, Word and Excel
Word layout Editable text: paragraphs and headings Page pictures, with the text below them
Word (.docx) Excel tables (.xlsx) Text (.txt)
Text and tables are read from the PDF’s own text. Scanned pages need OCR first (OCR & scans). Complex layouts come out simplified.
PDF to CAD and vector
DXF units Sheet size in millimetres (1:1)
DXF for CAD Vector SVG Embedded pictures
Keeps the drawing’s lines, curves, fills and text, with one layer per colour. It cannot rebuild layers, blocks, walls or the original CAD model, and scanned pages have no vectors.
Other files to PDF
Use Open files for Word, Excel and PowerPoint (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx), TIFF, SVG and DXF: each becomes PDF pages in the workspace. Office layouts are simplified to text, tables and pictures (Latin text).
